Reliable rust repair and repainting for vehicles, equipment, farm machinery, and more.
Rust doesn’t wait. What starts as surface discoloration works its way into the metal underneath, and once it has a foothold, it spreads fast. Left alone, it compromises structural integrity, drives up repair costs, and shortens the life of equipment you depend on every day.
Blue Tech Refinishing handles the full rust repair process, starting with media blasting to strip rust and failed coatings down to bare metal, through any necessary surface repairs, and finishing with industrial primers and topcoats that seal out moisture and corrosion for years.
Whether you own a single work truck or manage a fleet, we give your equipment a clean foundation and the protection it needs to keep going.

His attention to detail is second to none and the turn around time is incredible. I would highly recommend Blue Tech Refinishing to anyone looking to preserve a piece of history!Posted on Rex BergsDecember 11, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I am a business owner who used to do all of our painting on our equipment but ran into a bind one day and didn't have the time to do a project that needed to get done quickly. I had Myron do it, and I have him now doing all of my painting needs. He is very reasonable and has great quality. I had him paint a 3 year old PJ gooseneck trailer that was a rust bucket . Six years later, it has chips and scrapes, but no rust. I will recommend having Blue Tech Refinishing do all of your painting needs.Posted on CarrieDecember 11, 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a fender bender with my Durango and he made the whole vehicle look better by touching up chips and scratches. The bill was very reasonable especially compared to other estimates I got for the fender and hood repair. I definitely would recommend giving him a chance at your painting needs.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust. We handle everything in-house: blasting, surface prep, rust treatment, priming, and finish coatings. You drop off one piece of equipment and pick up something that's protected from the metal out.
A coating applied over poorly prepped metal will fail. We blast surfaces down to clean steel before anything goes on, which is how our coatings hold up through seasons of road salt, mud, and hard use.
We use epoxy primers and durable topcoats designed for working equipment, not weekend projects. These systems create a tight barrier against moisture, salt, and corrosion.
You'll know what the job involves, what it costs, and when to expect it back. No surprises.
Call or send us a message with details about your equipment and the condition it's in. We'll talk through what we're seeing and give you a realistic picture of the work involved.
Once the job is scheduled, bring your truck, trailer, or equipment to our shop. We take it from there, stripping rust, prepping the metal, and applying the coatings.
When we're done, your equipment leaves with a clean surface and a coating system that's built to handle whatever comes next.
Construction equipment lives in wet, muddy, punishing conditions. When coatings wear down and rust takes hold, we strip it back and refinish the metal so your machines stay reliable and presentable on the jobsite.

Trailers sit close to the road, haul heavy loads through all kinds of weather, and rarely get the attention they deserve until rust has already spread. We refinish trailer frames and decking so they stay structurally sound and protected for the long haul.

Fertilizers, moisture, and seasons of outdoor storage make rust a constant problem for ag equipment. We work on tractors, implements, and other farm machinery, protecting them so they're ready when you need them.
Surface rust on doors, quarter panels, hoods, and rocker panels doesn't have to mean a body shop bill the size of a car payment. We repair rust damage on passenger vehicles and personal trucks, restoring the metal and finishing it so the repair blends cleanly with the surrounding surface. Whether it's spot rust or something that's been spreading for a season or two, we'll tell you what's fixable and get it looking right.

Truck frames and rocker panels take the worst of it — road salt, standing water, and years of use eat through factory coatings faster than most people expect. We blast the rust back to clean metal, treat the surface, and apply coatings that hold up through daily driving and hard work.

The underside of a semi takes constant punishment from road spray, salt, and debris. Sandblasting and recoating the frame protects the steel underneath and helps extend the working life of a truck that's putting on serious miles.
Rust repair is straightforward when it’s caught in time. If your truck, trailer, or equipment is showing signs of corrosion, the best move is to address it now before the problem deepens. Contact Blue Tech Refinishing for a free quote and find out what it takes to protect the equipment you rely on.
Can rust be fully removed?
Yes. Media blasting strips rust from the metal surface completely. Once the steel is clean, we apply primers and coatings that protect it from returning.
How bad does rust have to be before it’s not worth repairing?
That depends on how far it’s spread and whether it’s affected structural metal. In most cases, refinishing is still far less expensive than replacement. We’ll give you an assessment when you contact us.
What if the rust is in hard-to-reach areas?
Media blasting gets into corners, seams, and recessed areas that grinding and sanding can’t reach. It’s one reason we use it as the foundation for every rust repair job.
How long will the repair last?
With proper surface prep and quality coatings, the protection holds up for years under normal working conditions. The longevity depends on the environment and how the equipment is used.
